The mighty Predator Destructor tank, as seen above, fully motorized. Uses two Power Functions XL motors to propel itself, both powered form a single rechargeable battery box. Main turret and sponsons are synchronised and rotated by a single PF-medium motor.
The Dreadnought. It is basically the same model I had build back in early 2008, just modified a little bit to match markings and colour scheme of my new army. By the way, I need a good name for them...
The Land Speeder with Assault Cannon. I am quite fond of this little flyer, even if its proportions are a bit too sporty compared to original.
Devastator Squad. Sergeant and four Marines with Heavy Bolter, Missile Launcher, Plasma Cannon and a Lascannon. In fact building these weapons took by by far most of the time spent on building the squad... some are quite complex.
Tactical Squad. Sergeant, two Marine with special weapons: Flamer and MultiMelta, and seven marines with standard issue Bolters. It might be interesting that these Bolters are in fact not all identical, as the design evolved while building more Marines.
Tactical squad Sergeant, equipped with Thunderhammer and a BoltPistol. By that time I had no idea how to build a chainsword, so... let's say the Sergeant has a good friends in Terminator armory.
Devastator squad Sergeant. Non-Lego trick which sadly is the only way to do it. At least it is not a clone brand, neither a cut brick. Plus he has a little Plasma Pistol which was surprisingly hard to build in this scale.
Wonderful. But in order ro create these pieces how many bits of non Standard Lego products did you have to acquire? And did you modify some bits by cutting or molding the plastic?
i want some !
instructions please
your design is so good i could buy it
I'd buy instructions for the marines alone for 20 Dollars
oh and does the predator have wheels to support it's tracks
Awesome-looking Predator - such detail! Land Speeder looks cool, too. Marine suits and weapons really give a classic WH40K feel to this unit. How about "Skull Mongers" for their name? - Huss Q.
Totally Awesome. Never Would have thought about using the Stormtrooper helmets for Space Marine Helmets. What type and brand of paint did you use? It seems to match Lego's red accurately. Please Respond. Nice Job Again.
two things here one: very good vid but too much about the motorized tank and two: how did you make the heads because I am guessing that you made them with non-lego parts or plasticine please tell me but otherwise best lego warhammer army ever made and ever will be made except if you made a stage 3 or stage 4 then it could get better but would be very hard too
do you think you can tell me the parts I need to make a basic 40k warhammer marine? maybe pretty please I wanna try to make a blue, dark green or titanum colored one. May I please have your permission to make one since it is your design afterall. I just want one because you made it look cool but since u like the color red it seems I don't wanna take your fav color so I'll make it diff color to preserve your specific design :) w/b please and thank you

Man, this is awesome! That tank is so cool with the power functions and the marines are awesome too! Good job!
You should of made a powerfist or plasma sword or lightning claw if the chain sword is to hard! =P love the stuff man, freaking sweet! You should put in a comparison shot with a normal mini-figure!
now, upon seing these mighty creations of your, which are truely amazing, have you not thought of selling them as sets, you would make a huge amount of money, especially if they were limited edition. You said you didnt want to do the instructions yourself, so why dont you ask Lego to make some for you???
Your missing a huge opportunity if you dont sell them...
Keep up the good work
Thanks for responding. Now that i think about it as a challenge more than the actual concept it makes more sense. It is also definitely growing on me more after watching ultramarines the movie :) anyway my past stuff has been more than amateurish but i hope my soon to be posted certain starcraft legos will change that. please check 'em out soon. thanks.

I got 2 questions how did you make the arms on the smaller guys and how did you get/make those stickers?
Stickers are printed on laber paper using a normal laser printer. And drawn in gimp.
As for arms - There is a little trick there ;>
Elbows are not connected to shoulder pads but to the torso itself. Lever sticks connecting them are hidden under these huge pauldrons so it is hard to spot that little hax.
Thats fanstactic!! I was an avid space marine/chaos space marine collector up until a little while ago and these are easily the best lego space marines i've ever seen. The predator is exceptionally accurate as is the dreadnought. I'd love to know how you built your marines if possible!!!
- Liam
Wow! They are quite impressive. I've played the video game and a friend of mine has a really nice custom Chaos Space Marine army.
Your stuff is extremely accurate.

this is amazing but idk if I love the idea of using one miniature hobby to create another miniature hobby. It's kind of like using pieces of warhammer plastic to make lego guys you know?
This is just another challenge I have set for myself. I have been building vehicles, space ships, working mechanisms, replicas of cars and so on.... replicating a plastic miniature out of little plastic pieces DO seem redundant, but it is the difficulty level which made it worth it ;)

Awesome Job, Looks just like the real models!
I am a warhammer fan as well, Tyranids. I've thought of trying to make Tyranids once.
If you still play 40k, have you thought of using the tank? I know it is a little big, but having an actual moving tank on a 40k game would be awesome!

It' s very very cool i' m a very big warhammer 40k fan and I like Lego too^^. this is a really nice work. Can you give me a Instruction about this models please, it is really so cool that I must have that^^. send it please at hai_ray@freenet.de Than I havn' t any Idea how to build this it where really nice thanks in advance.
Well, thanks for appreciation, but please tell me - why would I even want to make instructions? If I built these models I will be able to replicate them if needed (especially considering that they stay)... and making instructions is just a waste of time as it takes more to do it than to actually build something.

Great job! I noticed you used the new Arealight red airborne trooper helmets. Thanks for the instructions.

Yes I did. It is way too short and too rounded, thus making it completely useless. There is a Brickarms chainsword which is perfect... except 2x too small.
Sorry to hear that. Well, at least it's mostly LEGO.

The functionality of that tank is impressive. Cool! I'm not entirely convinced there aren't purist methods for making that weapon, though... I know LEGO makes a chainblade element. Have you tried using one?

I have never seen it this good and i will probably never see it better. At first i didn't even think it was LEGO at all. I am utterly amazing at what you've done here. Kudos.

Remarkable! I am a big fan of the game (yeah, no kidding) and you did a great justice to it with this set. Truly amazing, keep up the good work! -Ultra
my god that tank is epic k cool that it looks real but you make it move and to top it off the turret moves how did you do that an i want one.i would go for blue not red but still epic win
Amazing, incredible, brilliant, I can't find the right word to describe it. I love Warhammer 40000 and this is the best Lego Warhammer I've seen so far.
An amazing work all around. This is so close to the original that Games Workshop probably has to sue you, haha. Absolutely stunning. Thanks for allowing me to start my weekend with spotting such a perfect MOC.
Dude, this is by far, not just the best Space Marine force but also Lego WH40K army Ive ever seen! Amazing use of pieces and decals, and Im still trying to find my jaw that simply snapped out of my skull when I saw that motorized Predator tank. Amazing job, congrats!
I'm not a Warhammer fan but this is unbelievable! The suits, the weapons, the tank. It's guns and movability. Need I say something more about it? Nah, Images speak louder than words ;))
Staggering! Mate, this is beyond fantastic, I honestly thought the cover pic was of the models you were going to try and re-create, and they turned out to be the models, in LEGO! Dude, if anyone should, you should so build a Bane Blade. Congrats on my favorite Moc ever released, thanx for sharing that, unbelievable build...
