About this creation

"The Landing Platform from episode VI is only in the movie during the blink of an eye, but it's truly one cool construction in the Star Wars universe (although a bit pointless if you ask me; why not just land on the forest surface?). It's obvious a construction like this is not interesting for LEGO to make, at it's rather costly and has a low playvalue. That didn't stop me from building one though, even if it cost a fortune... Constructed and finished in 2006" - HJR

Oh and just for the record they cant land on the forest floor because there's a 20ft carnivorous monster that roams Endor in search of meat.

Its quite a good model and I'm making one myself. However my one will be to scale with the UC imperial shuttle and has so far cost me 2 thousand pounds to build. Keep looking on my creations for updates and tell me some details that you think I should use. But its a realy great model.

That is amazing... Ive tried to build that platform before and always ended up short a million pieces... Im glad that you could put it together.
