Sig Fig Nutcracker
My sig fig in the form of a nutcracker.
About this creation
You guys may not know it, but I have an odd fascination with nutcrackers. Unfortunately this year we are a bit too broke for me to go buy one, so I made one instead.

Open mouth.

Closed. He says, "Gimme your nuts!"

Yes, there's a working lever.

For those who care about the height and brick count.....you're out of luck. It's taller than I thought it would be, that's about as close of a count as you'll get.

Of course he has my signature drinking cup.

One last shot. After the MOC O's I pretty much didn't even want to look at LEGO anymore. I wanted to build something to kind of kick the dust off my brain and get back into it. I have a LOT of ideas, and very little motivation. We will see where this leads us.

Thanks for checking it out!

I love this! A great addition to your home decorations for the holiday season. I won't comment on your fascination with nuts...I mean nutcrackers. ;-) Here's to the "Collectors Edition" of everything this holiday season. Bottoms up my friend.

Possibly the start of a themed nutcracker series. I bet there's a lot of other characters you'd probably like to put your nuts in the mouth of. See ya. garth

Quoting El Barto ! Looks great, Dude! Did you think about making the arm hold the cup upright? You know, to hold the nuts? Well built!
I actually wanted to keep it more traditional with his arms at his sides. However, the thought did cross my mind.

I'm late to the party so i'l forget the nut jokes (seems a lot have gone before me anyway) and say nice build Heath! The same fig (your siggy) is actually a sculpture in the window of one of my local toy stores and this looks about halfway between that one and fig size in scale - i'll se if I can get a piccy and mail it to you. Nice to see you've got over PMO lethargy, mine's started to diminish too - the bricks were out last night!

Of course he´s taller than you thought, Heath. As a pirate of the caribbean he´s used to crack only coconuts. The idea for the x-mas base is cool.
