Ode to Kubrick's Sci-Fi Classic
The opening scene of Stanley Kubrick's mind bending 1968 Sci-Fi classic "2001: A Space Odyssey. If you listen closely you'll hear "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" building to a crescendo in the distance.

This MOC certainly captures the creepy feeling of that scene! The rock structures look fantastic and they're not easy to do! Well Done :-)

Magnificient! I don't know squat about proportions (too lazy to figure them out, really) but it just looks right to me. I love it! Now I'm wanting to get at least a few of those gorillas.

Quoting Arthur Gugick The ape's name is "Moon-Watcher" Also, the proportions are perfect: 1:4:9
I was thinking the monolith was pretty close to spot on. I bet, like me, you went to see this film in the theater as a teenager and were never the same after that!
