Built in May 2009, the month in which I built some of my other faves like The Evil Jester and Ten'kratt. That's probably just a coincidence. It was originally supposed to be in my storyline, but I scrapped the idea pretty quickly. I haven't uploaded him before because I never really had a name or function for this thing until now.
About this creation
Although not actually a Fury, it is often mistaken for one because of its actions and abilities. It can fade from one dimension to another at will, unlike a Fury, who needs to feed on a target before it can enter said target's dimension. Its physical body is similar to that of a Fury after feeding: The silver parts of its body are solid while the black parts are not. The orange orb is its eye, which is also its only vulnerable body part. Its eye can see into other dimensions, making it easier to find targets.
Motrath feeds on the life force of sentient creatures that are nearing the end of their life. However, it can only do this from a relatively short distance, and when itís in the same dimension as its target. Although its body is partially solid, it can not normally be seen by mortals. The only thing that they can see is a faint orange glow where Motrathís eye is. This is why some cultures view this light as a sign of death (which actually makes sense, since Motrath only appears near creatures that will soon die).
Mothrathís eye contains all the life force it has absorbed. If Motrath would ever be struck in its eye, it would make the only noise in its life: a loud screech of death.
This screech would kill any sentient being within a 5 mile radius. After this, its eye would disintegrate, and with it all of Motrath's life force...
...leaving only the remains of its body behind. Its remains then fade into a purgatory-like dimension, where it will remain for a thousand years. After this time, Motrath's eye, and with it its life force, are restored, after which it will start roaming dimensions again.
Motrath and the Evil Jester. This was supposed to happen in my storyline, but it never will.
