Keeping out the cold, a CCCVIII entry
My entry for medeival maintenance, as castle building takes a long time, eventually the cold comes around. The workers pour hay on the wall in an attempt to prevent frost wedging.

Honesly I have no idea if they did this.. I thought I remember them doing it in a movie I watched about castles in school in like 1st grade... For some reason I remembered that... I googled it and couldn't find anything backing this up, but I built it anyway!

Mhm, nice job, on the first glance it reminds me of my interpretation of a scene in a book. But there the wall is finished and it's around 70 b.c.
