This weapon was made for overkill, but it isn't to be dead, when they target it, they're pwnt instead! From the most unpleasant thing they ever saw, the wicked HAT-1 of I. M. Awe!
About this creation
Good morning, afternoon, or evening, viewer. I present the vehicle that is the father of all overkill. A really big caliber cannon, 2-to-4 rotary cannons, 16 missiles divided into two packs, and anything else you can duct-tape on. Let's explore:

Front.

Side.

Back. With ladder, greebles, and infantry-tank phone, for easier coordination.

The turret with an actual semi-interior and a way down into the main hull. That's right, the turret is accessible from the inside. I think I took a level in legits.

Turret really spins!

Turret really has inside access!

And there's more of an inside too. The black stuff is rubber, to absorb shock from all the shells this thing absorbs. We can't have concussions amongst the crew, can we? Oh, there's enough space behind the camera to hold at least a handful of soldiers. This tank is big.

You know you want it.
And now, for a bit of fluff for the PCU canon. This, of course, does not apply to the actual group and all it’s other members. Yet.

In 2013, shortly after the fall of the United States, Jered Wilson and John Hood teamed up to create one of the most overkill vehicles in the entire world, a measure of protection against the rival states that would soon rise from the ruins. The Heavy Assault Tank 1, named the Rainier. It was a wild success. In 2036, the design was heavily edited, into the HAT-1 Mk. II.

General Wilson of OAAE, Vice-Governator Nick Shelton, and General Bedford introduce the HAT-1 Mk. II to the Kaoxiang Ambassador and Governator John Hood. After the Pacific Union's expedition to the East of Russia, in the post-collapse chaos, the People's Republic of China destabilized when they were unable to dislodge a force of 25,000 men and a few fishing boats with machine guns duct-taped to them. For really no reason at all, other than to drive out the Commies, a better version of the old empire was reborn under the Kaoxiang. The two nations would be working closely together in the coming years, and co-developed many new weapons.

Doctor Thompson, a mechanical engineer and computer programmer, prepares to lead Governator Hood, Vice-Governator Shelton, and the Ambassador down into the tank.
Fun fact: Doctor Thompson, VF-S 1, and Vice Admiral Layman from POAM were all supposed to to be in a setting very similar to the PCU. However, the advent of the COP transferred them to there, where Layman was demoted in favor of Aemowes. So yea, that explains why Thompson and the white cat are here. This here is canon only for the PCU standing alone, but HAT-1s have their own on-board intelligences. >.>

Wilson and Bedford are left to talk to the pesky reporters. Fortunately, ever since the Nationalization For Peace and Prosperity Act of 2014 and the Dead Men Tell No Tales Act of 2016, the media has been strictly controlled by Union officials.
And now a word from the PCU's Ghost of Infomercial's Past:

"DO YOU SUCK AT LIFE? DO YOU FIND YOURSELF WONDERING HOW YOU CAN END IT ALL? HI BILLY MAYS HERE FROM THE HAT-1/AGMS-3 ARTILLERY VEHICLE! JUST AIM TO FIRE. APPLY, AND DIE!"

"BUT I'M NOT DONE YET- CALL RIGHT NOW, AND I'LL TRIPLE YOUR OFFER AND SEND YOU 16 MISSILES, SO YOU CAN DIE 16 TIMES."

"NO ONE LOVES YOU! BUT IT GET'S EVEN BETTER! BILLY MAYS IS SCORING WITH YOUR MOM! SO SCREW WITH THE PCU RIGHT NOW. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE, BUT EVERYTHING TO GAIN!"

Yea, there's actually missiles in there. They go on another brick below that, but you might not be able to tell.
While I'm at it, I might add this can be loaded with either anti-plane munitions or anti-ground munitions.

The HAT-1/HA-1. Meanest son of a b**** in the State of Oregon-Washington! GUARANTEED! It's uglier than your mom, and weighs more to boot. But that gun will ruin your day.

Look how much attention I gave to detail! They've got a ladder for this too! It might have been easier to put a hatch in the back, but I was too lazy for that. And out of grey, nearly.

Maximum elevation for the gun.

Sneaky white people.

After doing a marathon of the Walking Dead in John Hood's basement and seeing how badly the military handled things, the PCU elite decided they needed a zombie apocalypse contingency plan. This was their answer.

Yea, those are blades. Choppin those zombies like Butcher Pete, as Jered Wilson and crewman show just how big those blades are. Also works on protestors underbrush and small trees.

I think the left version is significantly better. A shame I decided to do this in November/December, we got no good light, like I had in August 09 for the right-side image.
Well, there you have it. By the way, Precipice 8 is coming any day now.

As always, nice tank. ("Nice Tank"? Kind of any oxymQr0n there). Also: "This is a bit much like spam for my tastes, but... the "Clonet--d City" group requires you to fill in an order form for the first round. The pertinent information can be found under the "Orders" thread in the Varion Invaders subgroup." |

Great work on this Awe! Nice detailing and smoothness with the whole build and shape. The background story adds a little history to it as well. The only thing that's bugging me are the sides. They look kind of bleak and plain. If you added some more detailing to it, it would look tons better. 4/5. |

Perhaps a ladder, or some air vents for the sides?
But I already have that on the back. Why would you put weak spots on the sides of a tank? At least in the back, they're less likely to get hit. |

Legit, is it bigger than the first one? I like the second to last turret the best, the massice one that looked like a howitzer.
It's the same size, exactly. It just looks bigger probably because it's got a cleaner cut. |

Both of these are really nice. I should try my hand at tanks, they seem like something I would enjoy. Anyway, very nice. I really liked the back story and additions to each model. |

C'est très bon! The things I like are grey bricks on a military vehicle. The details are worked out very well and the track tires make it look so crude and tough. |

I'm always terrified whenever I see the HAT-1 page, I just always am... And correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the HAT-1 Mk.2 just be the HAT-2? ~T |

You sure our Zombie Survival plan didn't fuel the HAT-1's Zombie mode? :P |
