Just a few Christmasy MOCs.
About this creation

Built for a contest at BCN forums. I don't know how I happened to stumble upon the forum or the contest itself, but I'm really glad I did because I just love it! (For those refusing to follow the hyperlink, there was a set theme - Christmas, and a significant restriction of 20 pieces, where a minifig is counted as one piece.) Update: the main photo MOC won, and I think this is the first time I've actually won a contest. :)
In any case, here you have my entries. The first one should be fairly clear. The second one depicts a little boy who was sad last year because his last year's snowman had disappeared overnight so this year he's made an ambush to stop him from going. To his great surprise., the snowman isn't really going anywhere... :P By the way, the snowman is melting only because I couldn't make a satisfactory non-melting snowman and this one seemed more realistic and, well, roundish. ;)
There are 24 consolation prizes and a capital one (Winter Village Bakery), and a winner is announced each day (the WVB winner, of course, has to wait until Christmas :P). None of my entries have won anything yet... :(
I haven't been building much lately, unfortunately... I will try to make up for it during winter break. :)

The use of the Bionicle piece and the wand in the first scene was inspired! Love the melting snowman too.~H |

I'm glad you're building things again. ;)
Haha, so am I. You've been on the forum for quite a while and I don't think I've built anything much all this time... Oh the horrorz! :o I must redeem myself during the holidays. ;) |

I used plates, although silver, before and must say that they're awesome pieces! The first looks better to me than the second. |
