John, I've seen one of these up close at Edwards AFB. It was when Northrop was still trying desperately to sell some to the US Govt. No foreign Govt would buy it if the US wouldn't which effectively killed it. It was an amazing aircraft and you have really one a great job capturing the look and scheme of this very rare aircraft. thanks for showing it here. Regards, Eric.

It was designed as a light bomber-fighter, twice less expensive than a F-16. It could easily match with it in a dog-fight (with a even better climb-rate) but the load capacity (due to its small size) was too weak compared to other aircrafts.
