The second part in this epic story of Adventure. Will the knights of Robathan recapture Trefortres? And who will survive? You must read to find out...
About this creation
After Lucus made it back safely, the king called together his knights to inform them of the threat.
"Knight!" he said. "Trefortres has been taken by invaders, so we must take it back!"
"We and I shall not stand for this to go on!"
"I say fight, fight, fight!!! We attack at the sunset tonight!"
The archers went forward first.
And took up there positions hidden in the trees.
Ba, the main archer readied the catapult with explosives.
And let it loose, making it fly through the air.
It landed in the middle of the grounds of the enemy...
And before anyone could say, look out, it exploded, knocking over structure, and people.
Then the king advanced and yelled in his mighty voice, "Attack!"
"Archers, let loose your arrows!"
And so they did...
One found its target there.
And another here.
Then warrior met axe with shield, and sword with spear. Some defended...
Other's tried but failed...
Most grappled with one another, wrestling for superiority.
Other's charged with spear.
Lucus then rode forward, slaying with his mighty axes.
Another knight of Robathan, pierced the heart of a fallen invader.
And then Launcelot charged.
As did the rest.
But then the enemy fired their arrows.
And they found their marks here
here
and here.
Ba let loose another explosive.
It exploded on impact.
Laying waste many more of the invaders army.
And gruesomely split this unlucky viking.
The assassin, then let loose his arrow.
And sent another knight sprawling.
The king realizing that he was taking to many causalities yelled "Retreat!!!!!"
And so they did...
"This victory goes to me!!!!!"
The horror of the battle was shown in the morning.
The dead were scattered everywhere.
But for what, only slight advantages on the opponent?
The battle was futile...
