Israeli Self Defense in action
When Areetsa gets involved in something, you can be sure to see some fireworks. Mocmurders? Well, they're no different.
About this creation
You should give the photos some time to load. I don't know why, but they're a lot larger in size than most of mine.
----------------

"We'll be past the lake in a minute. You sure you've done the navigation right? Once we go past the shoreline, we won't have enough fuel to go anywhere but home, and you know how much repeat sorties cut into our reward money."

"I'm sure. Really, I am."

"Well, that's it. We're committed."

"Looks like a nice place to live..."

"I hope you remembered the camera. No proof of death, no reward, and I'm not going to be flying back out here in the hairy glutes of the beyond unless I can help it."

*rummage*

"Yeah, I've got it."

"Ooh..."

"And another thing, if we get back and I find you've wasted all the film on sunbathing nuns again, I'll be most displeased with you!"

"Mmm, nuns..."

"What was that?!"

"Nothing..."

"Good. Make sure it stays that way.
Now siddown and shuddup."

"Hey! There's the park!"

"Well then, sit back up again! What are you waiting for?!"

"This is what I live for...
Here we go!"

"You sure you want to go through with this challenge?"

"Yeah, why not? It's just a mocmurder. I know how those work."

"I don't know..."

"What's to know? I kill him, he maybe kills me, we go a few rounds, I get lots of comments, everybody's happy."

"Maybe. I've just got a feeling about this. This guy's a wildcard. He's never been involved in something like this.
Phipson, Kelso, Flare, Fassio: they're known factors. They're predictable. They've got their own methods of doing things, and it shows in how they deal with challengers.
But this guy, he's never been approached for something like this before. There's no way to predict how he might react."

"So? Maybe he kills me in a new way. What about it?"

"Yyyeah... this guy isn't entirely normal. Heck, when he decided he needed a sig, what'd he do? Make a figure who looks like him or what he'd like to look like? Nope, he hijacked an alien warship captain. And speaking of that warship, it's overhead right now, in a polar orbit. He can take any given kilometre of the planet's surface and blast it into craters any time he feels like snapping his fingers."

"What, a preemptive strike? Nobody'd do that. It's unheard of."

"Nobody'd ever done a MOCIA before he came along, either...
There's a distinct pattern of trailblazing here."

"Huh... Speak of the devil..."

"What?"

"Oh, nothing. I'm just saying, there's no guarantee he won't do something totally crazy. The profile I have so far doesn't exactly speak volumes for his stability; what I'm seeing is an established habit of taking established themes and methods and turning them upside down, inside out and backwards to suit his own ends, which are often either making a point or personal amusement. On the subject of amusement, I'm thinking half of it is watching how people react to coming across something entirely new."

"Hey, what's that over there?"

"Huh?"

*thwipa-thwipa-thwipa-BANGSPLAT*
"Agh..."

*Bradadadada*

"Thanks for the promotion, guys!"

---------------------
This guy: http://mocpages.com/home.php/55015 approached me wanting to enquire as to the possibility of a mutual exchange of hostilities.
By the way, the profile his advisor has? It's pretty right. I've never been one for mindlessly following themes and trends.
And stability? I hang around with Phaze and Awe. What do you expect? Sometimes I think those two roll dice to decide what they're going to do next.
Predictability isn't their thing. Well, except for the thing where anything they do can be expected to annoy someone. But that's more predicting Kiddies.

In case you're wondering why the muzzle flashes, shell impacts and sound are coming out of sync... well, light moves faster than sound, and some shells move faster than sound as well, but slower than light. Go watch some videos of tanks on the firing range: you'll see the flash, and you'll see the impact, and then you'll hear the explosion.

And the builds? Well, the real star of this is the plane. I'm very fond if it, and it's very swooshable. Not that I'd ever do anything so undignified. Anyway, movable control surfaces, two seats, a moderate amount of external weaponry, a plentiful amount of internal weaponry, and the Holy Grail of minifig scale aircraft: sturdy retractable landing gear!

I'll probably get around to posting it sometime next year, knowing me.

Looking back through the pictures, I understood the light/sound/impact thing, I just didn't know that you did muzzle flashes. They're not the kind of thing you can see from that far off.

I'm actually a rather successful student of REAL Israeli tactics called Krav Maga. That's just a fun fact you can use against me later, now on to the build! Nice plane (put it down, now, for dignity's sake!) and an inventive way for MMs to be 'executed'. I agree, in the future a nice blanket fire from orbit should sufficiently devastate the target...

Quoting W. Mark Come now... you only called the railroad tracks and hangings timeless... I would have thought that a simple fly-by like that would be written on the immense list of things you (justly) criticize.
Nope, vehicular manslaughter isn't a common occurence in mocmurders. Not yet, anyway. Neither is orbital bombardment. As a plus, shelling things from orbit has a pleasing amount of collateral damage. Plain shootings, stabbings and bludgeonings, however, abound.

I'm sorry if I accidentally multi-posted this, but after I posted and then refreshed the page, my comment was gone. Do you justify 7 years of rockets fired on Sderot and Ashkelon? Do you justify 771 rockets and 857 mortar bombs?

I thought it was the Hamas or Hezbollah or whatever they call themselves that do that sort of thing?

While your description of the IDF's (Israeli Defense Force, not Israeli Self Defense) methods are completely accurate, the MOC was quite funny. Nice work.

Quoting Danny Morgan Not sure if I entirely understand the storyline, but i love the plane! My dad was in the Israeli Defense Force too.
It's actually to do with Israel's preferred method of self defense being to hit first.

As soon as I saw that plane and my minifig standing there like an idiot I wondered "What's it gonna be? Bombs or guns?" I see you chose guns. Great job on the blood. I don't know how I'm gonna top this but I might.....only it's gonna take a bit. So don't expect anything to soon.
