A Secret Santa gift, specially made for me, by the incomparable Leda Kat.
About this creation
Not even the folks on Sesame St. have managed to escape the recent economic downfall, and times are tough... desperate times call for desperate measures. Not only has Jim now got Christmas dinner covered, but also next Christmas too!
Story by mystery builder, song added by yours truly
Can you guess which of these builders is the artist behind this vignette?
The idea behind this Secret Santa build was to create a series of vignettes tailored to an individual AFOL. Twelve builders graciously agreed to participate by donating their time and brick to this event. We were randomly assigned a person to build for, and then had to ship the gift out all over the world. Our gift to MOCpages is that you all get to see these wonderful builds and join in the guessing!
You can check out the other builds in the Secret Santa group. We will all reveal our Secret Santas toward the end of the week.
Happy Holidays and thank you to all the builders who participated in this event. A special thank you to Master Shifu Leo J who stepped up to draw the names and send the emails and helped to make this thing happen!
I was just coming to have a guess and Dave's revealed! Does it still count if I say I WAS going to guess Leda? on account of the colours and the choice of humour mainly - I love a big bird for Christmas, although I hope he's got a pretty big oven.
Ok, this is why I waited for all of the SS's to be posted. At first I thought this had to be either Stu or Gio, but through process of elimination, I am down to either Leda or Boner. The other remaining MOC could have been done by either, but this one definitely leans more towards the Kiwi then the Boone-man. Leda.~H
I could live with either Leda or Gio on this. For lack of any better clue, I'll go with Gio, as per the style guess of someone below. Later EDIT: I can't have Gio making two of them, so I guess I better change this to Leda.
i can t really make a good guess here, so, i ll say hans, but, this is a bucket full of laughs! i recognized the feet right away! big bird! lol! very cool and funny! you think this thing is eatable? good work!
My first guess was that nobody but the mighty Mark can afford to give away precious orange bricks. Second guess: Stu. Reasons: 1. The wonderful british dark humor, 2. the woolly hat and 3. Jim Henson created Sesame Street but also the ewoks. Since Master Shifu isn´t one of the suspects, it must be Stu. Confess!
The slaying and devouring of an icon, how quaint! I don't know why but I say Bones is the culprit here. You know if it weren't for the S. Street and Henson's other creations (and a couple other things), I wouldn't be the maladjusted nutjob here today!
