The Battlestar Galactica in Earth Orbit:
Continuing training exercises.
Supply mission complete.
The routine of the CIC was suddenly interrupted by a loud Ping from the DRADIS sensor system.
Communications Officer: "Contact, Sir! Just appeared out of nowhere...Ten thousand kilometers off the port stern...But I don't know the icon?"
Col Watchko: "What do you mean, Lieutenant?"
CMDR Nempec: "Doug...That's a Cylon Baseship..."
Tactical Officer: "Action Stations, Action Stations, Set Condition One throughout the Ship. This is not a drill!"
CMDR Nempec: "Who's on CAP? What can they see?"
Comm: "Maverick and Dare Devil, Sir."
CMDR Nempec: "Maverick, Galactica actual: What do you hear?"
Maverick: "Nothin' but the rain! Just coming about, Skipper, taking an oblique approach, don't want to spook 'em...Exactly like the pictures, big spindly lookin' thing. It's just sittin' there, no sign of action..."
CMDR Nempec: "Keep your distance, Maverick...Okay, open a channel...
Cylon Baseship, this is the Battlestar Galactica, what are your intentions?"
No response.
Comm: "Text message coming in, Sir...'Galactica: We request that your commanding officers proceed to our landing bay.'"
Watchko: "Well, aren't they chatty..."
Nempec: "Alright, tell Maverick to bring it in, we're going over for a little family reunion..."
Maverick: "Roger that, Galactica....Okay, Gus, on my six, we're goin' in hot!"
Mav: "Do we know what they want, Chief?"
LT Kuo: "No clue, Sir. Just you and CMDR Nempec are requested to go over."
Mav: "Well, I hope they've got something for us to eat, I'm starving!"
Pilot: "Galactica, Raptor 269: Proceeding to destination, coordinates transferred from the Baseship."
Comm: "Roger that, Maverick, Godspeed."

I said this on the previous chapters already but it keeps intruiging me, those pictures are awesome, I must say the landing in the cylon baseship was somewhat desorientating with the different sizes but nice withouth doubt, great job |
