Yay! Another Western vignette! This one, built mainly around the minifigure, features a broken down, old shack loaded with TNT for no other apparent reason other than to show off Paul's new dynamite. :-) Enjoy and make sure to rate and comment!
About this creation
This vignette is basically just a sketch like this previous one.
Tan cheese wedges!!!!!!!!
The shack wall effect was produced using Earlings, and creates a more dimensional feel. The cow skull definitely completes the vig.
Thanks to Max Pointner who provided me with the ever-so awesome Series 1 cowboy who's torso and hat make this figure so great! The head is off of the Star Wars rebel commando, the shoulder bag and legs, off of Indiana Jones, and the trench coat is custom made from the same material as Ki-Adi-Mundi's cape, and also makes an appearance on Boromir. The pistol is a BrickArms M1851, and the whip is the new version found in Prince of Persia. Phew. Those links are exhausting.
Of course, I have to include some artistic lighting shots to cap off this post.

It's just great! Nifty details, and good setting. Only thing I would like to comment about is the trenchcoat. I love those customs, but since this is a coat, which I presume goes on top of the shirt, I also believe it's not sleeveless? Therefore, perhaps a change of the arms to dark brown so as to complement the fullbodied trenchcoat look? :) |
