Preview to my new comic based on the Pharaoh's Quest Series.
About this creation
Here's a preview to a comic I plan on doing. I'm not sure what I'll call it yet but it will roughly follow the idea of the Pharaoh's Quest series. I haven't seen many if any comics about adventurers around MOCpages so maybe this comic will fill in this gap.
You may remember my Prophecy series from a few months ago, I don't think I'm going to get around to finishing that one any time soon. I've been too busy with school to put out an issue on a regular schedule. That comic wasn't very well planned out on my part and it went on too long without any real plotline. This comic will be different.
I'm going to throughly plan out the plot in this comic, and this one I think will be a lot shorter. Hopefully around 10 issues, maybe a few more. Well, anyways, here is the MOC.
This is a scene from one part of the comic. It shows British and Egyptian military fighting undead mummies.
I tried to use some different building techniques in this.
The mummy horde.
Here are some main characters. On the left is The Professor. He is a famous archaeologist who is going on an expedition to egypt for the first time in a while.
To his right is the main character of the series. I haven't named him yet but he is a young American student who has been selected to accompany the Professor on his expedition.
Next is a character I think I'm going to call "Tex". Tex is a rough 'n' tough cowboy who is famous for his gun fighting skills. He was selected for the expedition to be protection for the rest of the group against bandits and other enemies.
The last character is the Captain of the British soldiers in the Egyptian town. He is an experienced soldier who knows how to handle himself in a fight.
Thanks for visiting guys! Please leave a comment if you are even a tiny bit interested in this series. I want to get a feel for how popular this comic could be before I start!

Hey when are you gonig to start this? cause its been 4 months now.
Yeah, when I made this preview, I thought I was going to go through with this comic but I've been really busy and I don't think I'm ever going to get around to it any time soon. I'm a senior in high school and I'm really busy with college applications and all that stuff. Sorry about that everyone.

how come there is always an english proffesor and an american "Hero" and not the other way around? All brittish people arent Oxford or Cambridge proffesors, and all americans aren't brave explorers.
Very true, lol. I guess most Americans can better identify with an American hero and can get a bit of a laugh out of the goofy British professor (like Indiana Jones's dad, except he was Scottish, I think). I assume most people on MOCpages are Americans, although I could be wrong.
