I decided I wanted to build a system model with technic functions so I thought a tank-jeep style vehcile would be perfect. My AT-TR has working steering, rotating machine gun and rotating satellite. Enjoy!
About this creation
First watch this video. It shows the functions of the tank. Sorry about the quality of my filming, I would have got my brother to help me but he was selebrating the new year. Once you've watched the video scroll down ad see the much better quality photos :D
Before anyone asks, NO THIS WAS NOT based on a Warthog from Halo. I don't like Halo (sorry all you Halo fans!).
Here you can see part of the steering system and the big machine gun! The reason why there is a big machine gun on the front is not oly to shoot droids - the gear which is the guns "barrel" is the gear that runs along the toothed plate, steering it. More photos of the system later.
The turret on top of the AT-TR can rotate 360 degress the barrels can move up and down.
The satellite this can rotate 90 degress both left and right when the tank is steered.
The rear seat is used to carry a Specialised Clone Trooper, a Clone Commander or a Jedi.
This gear is used to steer the tank, rotate the gun and move the satellite.
“Suspension” In version 2.0 I might try and give it real suspension, AND motorised wheels, AND motorized steering, AND headlights, AND – well, that’s about it :D
To access the interior simply remove the sides by clicking them off. All the framework is yellow because yellow ad grey go together like ebony and ivory, or whatever that saying is.
Two Clone Pilots drive the tank.
Those seats don’t look half-comfy.
Another shot of the turret.
Underside. Yeh, it’s probably better that you don’t look under there…
The front removed to show the toothed tile and machine gun.
The crew lined up with their tank.
The crew consists of 2 Clone pilot (1 is the driver, the other is the navigator/communicator), 2 Clone Troopers, 1 Clone Gunner, and 1 Clone Commander/Jedi.
Thanks for viewing and I hope you liked my first MOC to include a video demonstration.
George, your design was just too good. So I made my own version with some modifications. I gave you credit and linked to your page. I hope that is okay. I tried to do the same type gun on the top, but couldn't figure it out.

Starfox is set in the future in the Lylat System. the team CALLED Starfox are a group of mercinaries who work for the Cornerian Military. (Corneria is the main planet in the system.) The leader, Fox Mccloud (a humanoid fox), and his teamates Falco Lombardi, Slippy Toad, and Krystal Syrius, defend Lylat with their extrodinary skills. But, Starfox was really started by Fox's father, James. James McCloud, Peppy Hare, and Pigma Dengar, made Starfox. After one of Corneria's leading scientists Dr. Andross was caught doing illeagal experiments, he was banished to the berren planet Venom. Months later, strange activity on Venom forced Starfox to investigate. (Fox was 16 at this time) To their arrival, Andross appeared as this bio-machine of himself. Pigma then betrayed the team, and James was presumed dead. Years later, Starfox was back as a new generation. (Krystal didn't become a member until 7 years later.) To sum it all up, Starfox is based on real-life. There is love, hate, death, betrayel, and sacrifice. (This is Fox as he is in the 4th game, Assault for the Gamecube. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/240200)
Wow, you know lots about Starfox! Also, my brother says: "Do a barrel roll!"

Dude this is super, super, SUPER SICK! I love that suspension you have. Reminds me of my Landmaster (Starfox) that I STILL need to build! Yeah, I'm not a Halo fan, but, I do however like the guns. I am really a Conduit fan/Starfox fan.

I like the guns ad the vehciles too. I never really got Starfox - a fighter pilot who is a fox?

Great build. I like the look of the actual vehicle, but I agree with moodswim, if you can add some slots or transparent pieces to make windows or fake windows it would give it more realism.
Also, it looks a bit crowded with all the clones on the top. If you increase the size just a bit, could you sink them down in it a bit.
Finally, I would put some kind of gate/roll bar on the back for the last passenger, you might even add a small gun to it for a rear gunner position.
But great build overall and a good base to make some nice improvements.
First of all, thank you for takig the time to write that massive paragraph to help me with my model. I sort of rushed the back - I originally had a second turret where the satellite is, but it meant that clones couldn't sit on the side because the turrent could't move side to side, so the tak couldn't steer. I think a cannon on the back would look really good so I'll extend the tank, make better seats for the clones and make a rotating cannon. I also think a rollcage would work very well too (maybe over the clones as well?)

That is very awesome build I could never build something that good! but I does not look like something in Starwars 4/5
I'm sure you could build something like this, you just have to believe! Anyway, I based this upon AT-ATs and AT-STs in their shape and style but I also added elements of a tank.

Very cool idea and design! I like that this looks like a "real" vehicle and love the playability of it! My only suggestion would be to add slots or windows to the cockpit so that the driver can actually see where he's going:)
Thanks, my origial idea when I realised that I haddened give it ay windscreen was that the pilots were looking at a display on the roof that was showing them where they were going. I guess a widscree would look cooler so aother thig to add to the list for V2!

AWESOME! it's just amazing! it's just beast, it would just shred it's way though any war. btw i don't like halo either. it just lame.
looks good, i like how you included an actual steering system in it. not many people take the time to include things like that in their armored trucks and such

cool! it looks soo complicated, but it should be all good if you know what you are doing. I personally am not good at stuff like this, but i gotta say the designs and gear functions are clever

Coolio! That thing is a monster, and the clones you've worked on look great! Mind checking out some of my new mocs? Outstanding job! :D
