1992 Peugeot 905B
A highly successful Le Mans racing car from the early '90's, the 905B was the second in a series of prototype racers from Peugeot. The 905 was a great performer and it was certainly unique with it's daft rear spoiler that hangs off the back to the absurdly short nose section. The car was also crazy under the hood, the engine developed about 630 HP at nearly 13,000 RPM! That's just crazy and hardly complies to modern-day racing restrictions. Nonetheless, I felt obliged to build a LEGO model of this car.
About this creation
Front view. The lights are a little larger than the real car simply because I think it looked better that way in LEGO form.

Rear corner view. It's not the prettiest race car ever, but it sure was quick!

Front view. The "Esso" logo is just a printed paper that has been taped onto the car. It's not very nice, but I figured it looked better than just a plain hood. Also notice the air scoops alongside the cabin.

Side view.

Side view 2.

Rear view. It's a bit odd how the spoiler was designed on this car. It's almost too difficult to see the brake lights.

Aerial view. Again, notice the air intakes and the complexity of the cabin section.

Hi Dylan...well, I won't complain about the spoiler (really too big) as there are much more incredibly sweet aspects, making this a really great model of a racing legend (As all LM-winners become legends, right?) The "rainbow" striping and the tow hook are nice details to liven up the black & white. Cheers, Jens

Quoting Vincent Rozenberg how long dose it take for you to make 1 car?
Usually it takes me about 5-7 days, but this car was a special case, it only took me 1 day to make this car.

Good model. A few minor inaccuracies (pointed out below) but I like it!

STUNNING curves and colors! I especilly like the construction around the cabin area, and the SNOT work that went into the headlights is also extremely cool. Just a great model of an absolutely absurd machine!

I agree with Malte below about the spoiler - the real thing follows the curve of the car much more closely, but other than that this is excellent. The paintjob is simple but beautifully effective : ) 8/10

very nice "Peugeot 905 EVO1B"! a few small corrections and it is perfect. front wheel arch too high (or back to low). front too long. nose too high. spoiler too far from the car. but in this scale - I think this is not possible = excellent LM-Car

You nailed it! This car has a really unique and special shape and design, and you captured it very well. Very good job on all the air intakes, and the over-sized wing. Nice work on the striping on the side. Nice work! Keep building! -Anthony Dunne
