The Bloody Vixens
During the 1900's, in the midst of the World War I, a merciless group of vagabond deserters formed a ragged alliance of killers. The Vixens stole army ships and engineered them to their own liking, painting blood-red crosses on them. They began to strike towns and cities all over Europe, stabbing loath and fear into the hearts of the citizens of the globe. NOTE: this is ALTERNATE HISTORY/REALISTIC FICTION, meaning incidents in the story of the Bloody Vixens DID happen (such as World War I) but the Bloody Vixens were not a a real group. ALSO, the red crosses on the airships are NOT Swiss in any way.
About this creation

If you have read the introduction (I advise you do) then you'll have more knowledge on the background of the "Bloody Vixens". This cruel group of runaways were ahead of their time. Tinkering with machinery to it's limits, pushing at the barrier of what mankind was able to do at the time. The Vixens were the first to build a mechanical hard-suit, and delved into the mysteries of air power and air ships. "Vixen" in this term is a slang for "criminal" or "miscreant".

This particular airship, Nailbit was built mostly for patrolling, but had two large steam powered machine guns hooked up to the sides in case of an attack.

These two blimps were filled with the lifting gas anypsonium (derived from the Greek word anypsono, meaning "lift") and also contained the two engines powering the propellers.

If you didn't read the intro, these red crosses aren't signalizing this ship is Swiss, the red cross against the background of a white diamond was the sign the Vixens chose for themselves.

The Vixens also used characteristics of non-engine sea ships, using a small sail as well as engines to move forwards.

An enormous rudder was built in as well to steer along with the engines.

The Bloody Vixens attached steam-powered two machine guns to the sides of the Nailbit for attacks.

This is the control bridge (literally). The control bridge connected both the blimps on their side, forming a sort of pontoon air ship.

This is another of the Bloody Vixens airship designs, called the Blistre. But this one they designed and built by themselves. The anypsonium is contained in the bottom of the small vessel, and the single propellers pushed forward.

Two wings offer stability, but because this design had virtually no way of steering, it was only used in battle twice before the Vixens realized they were losing men that way. The only controls in the ship are to turn the propeller on and off, and shoot the two small machine guns.

As I said earlier, the Bloody Vixens were ahead of their time, and formed the first human hardsuit.

The hardsuit was built for protection in battle, as well as carrying heavier weapons.

I had trouble deciding what sort of helmet I was gonna put on the h-suit. I was deciding between a helmet the likes of one of the airgeneers (air engineers, the ones who fly the ships) and this knight helmet. I just went with this because it had more protection.

On a built note, this h-suit/mech is super posable, and based slightly off the structure of the mechs in my last MOc, but this one is a lot stronger and more stable.

And here's the whole crew, two land soldiers, the hardsuit, and three airgeneers.

Well, I hope you enjoyed these airships, it's been a while since I've built one, and it was a lot of fun.
I appreciate you taking the time to check this out. :D
