2A4 Leopard, modernized to 2020s Finnish Defence Forces
About this creation
I think this is ready now. Leopard 2, German MBT since end of 1970s. 2A4 model was chosen to replace T-55 and T-72 tanks in finnish army. It was one of best tanks in 1980s, but finland started to train crew for these tanks at 2004. Finnish military leaders sed that tank can be modernized to 2020, and thats what i tried to do with this.
Ok, tank doesnt look fancy, stealth or anything super modern, well its 50 years old in this case! Finland bought more 2A4s from few other countries who were using these till 2012-2015, and changed to their own creations or modern options. Finland decided to modernize tanks rather than buying new ones. Missiles were growing threath, and extra armoring would make tanks too heavy. So, FDF used alot of taxpayers money to develope system that keeps missiles and dangerous particles far from tank, well, at least it decreases damage. When radar in tank detects missile or some other type of projectile, it launches rocket towards it. Small rocket should destroy projectile and stop it to hit tank as it should, only some fragrements may damage tank. it has 360 degrees protection. Tank has allso ERA at it skirts, and both sides of turret has reinforced with armor panels. Tanks front can be allso filled with ERA, but its allready so thick that it usally not equiped with them. Tanks communications, targeting systems and whole interrior has modernized. Big change is also that tanks commander can mark targets to map, that can be seen by other units in the battlefield, and allso driver sees these threats from his monitor and can keep away from them. This helps driver, gunner, commander and all other troops that carry same system with em. Tank has commander, gunner, loader and driver, all fitted inside tank. Commander can operate 7.62mm machinegun inside tank.

About creating tank.
I tried to create leopard with its 4 men crew for damn long time. Hard part was 3 men holding tower. Its not very strong, turntable and seats are connected to tower with one stud column... Tower turns 360 degrees well. Tank has no suspension, yet. I think that this is my best MOC, mostly becose there is nothing taken from anyone elses tanks, it can hold 4 men, and its coolest lego Leopard 2 in whole internet(it is).
