Survivor's Walker
Hi! Sorry I haven't uploaded anything in a while. Life's rough sometimes and takes you focus off the things that are really important, like LEGOs! Seriously, though, I'm glad to be back, and I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.
About this creation
Now, on to the MOC:

This walker is based off of a post-apocalyptic short story I wrote as a school project. I'm considering posting it sometime, so if you're interested, let me know. Now, here are the specs:

The Survivors are the largest colony left in the United States. Due to the lack of many species of insects and other pollen-spreading animals, most of the country is now desert. Hence, this vehicle. It is a sturdy, low maintenance exploration walker. It is lightly armed with an automatic slug thrower and an anti-personnel missile pod. The same material that powers the vehicle also supplies ammunition, interestingly enough. The Survivorís chemists have developed a new element that is to all intents and purposes a metal. When it reaches its melting point, however, it releases a gas that makes an excellent substitute for steam. In fact, it takes two times as much water to operate a machine than it does using the new element, which has been named Apoxium. The left over molten metal, which is more of a by-product than the Apoxium, is piped to the mass driver cannons and magnetically accelerated at a target. Unfortunately, due to Apoxiumís high density the walkers can carry only a small amount, which limits their scouting range considerably.

this seems a little to high tech for a zombie apocalypse, more like planetary colonization. lol nice job.

Whoa I really like this design! It has great use of pieces and just looks down right awesome! The yellow wind shield blends good and the shoulder guns are great! Nice work 5/5!

Epic. Gotta love a girl that builds mechs and clones instead of doll houses and tea sets. :P

Great to have you back! Wow. This is one heckuva nice walker you got here. From the looks of it, it seems like it is quite flexible, which is good. (You need to fix the main photo, though.)
