Spring Royal Carousel

In the spring of 1767 a new Royal Carousel was built in the kingdom. The ladies and gentlemen were able to have fun riding in a rotating carriage or three horses in the carousel. The princess called all the willing people to come and have fun. Two royal soldiers watched the good entertainment. Unfortunately, you can't see them enjoying the ride because since that time, only some pictures of the carousel are left. (but no movie - but I can assure you they are able to rotate) Update: I just found a movie from that period !?!?!? (http://www.flickr.com/photos/42140905@N02/5326849849/)

Thank you Csabo! Unfortunately in the floor of the carousel they are triangular gaps. One of my concerns is to fill a circle or a dome. I will try to improve my technic, for sure :-)
Quoting Csabo . Superb! The multitude of colors fits the theme. Also liked the technic pieces on the top used as decoration. I wonder how you filled out the floor of the inside of the carousel. Are there gaps?
