Well, I haven't posted anything in a while. But here's the first part of the Death Commando Heavy Dropship. It is modeled after the Phantom from the Halo series.

Say hello to the first part of the Death Commando Heavy Dropship, modeled after the Phantom from Halo!


Here's a view into the unfinished troop bay with the doors open. One of the side turrets is staring you straight in the face. I suggest you move away from it. Oh, it can also move up and down, and probably 360 degrees in a circle. So run away. Now.



Here's a view from one of the side turrets. The stick things are there so a minifigure can hold on to them.



Here's a view of the middle section with the boarding ramps shut. I tried to make them look as much like the Phantom from Halo as possible.



Here's a view of the middle section with the gunner platform contracted. I really don't like the fact that the guns kind of stick out, but it's the only way I could get it to work without oversizing the whole thing.




I'm sorry I couldn't get a photo of all the doors closed at once. For some reason, LDD won't let me hinge them really close together.



A minifigure running down one of the boarding ramps. This is my first somewhat-action scene.
