SkyWay Hotel
A 3-storey high hotel (alternate design) made from century skyway 6597 and a green baseplate. Comes with a restaurant and an indoor pool too!
About this creation

Just for a little escapism from my already crowded brain, I built and
alternate design from Century Skyway (6597) set.below. Well this MOC of mine
require a 32x32 baseplate to start off with.

Ladies and gentlemen... may I present you... SkyWay
Hotel...
!

This hotel has 4 individual rooms with bed and chair each, and a hall with 3
beds for budget travellers.

Other facilities includes a restaurant and an indoor swimming pool at the top
floor! Don't worry about drowning, there's a lifeguard to take care of you.

The restaurant has a balcony that overlooks the tarmac so diners can enjoy
seeing the plane takes off and landing while enjoying their meals.

Opps.... there's a design fault in my hotel! Actually its unintentional. I
only noticed it after I snapped all the photos. See if you can spot 'em in the
photos below. Drop me a email if
you found it! =)

The first thing you'll notice is why the satellite dish is there. Well, guest needs access to satellite TV you know.

Front View. If you're curious what the pair of jet engines doing on the top corners of this building, they're actually ventilators.

Side view. I nearly ran out of parts to cover this side and the other side. But I don't want to risk the occupants jumping off the gap on a suicide attempt.

Back view... classic typical uncovered LEGO building ^_^. Each room is provided with a mailbox uhmmm... a cabinet to store their luggage and clothes.

A clearer view on how I built the roof. There's not much decent long plates left when I'm done with all the floors. I'm utilising the jet wings instead to cover them up.

I don't know what the windsock is doing in front of this hotel. But it looks cute.

Center of first floor is the restaurant.

On top of the restaurant is an indoor pool. Comes with a lifeguard too! And no that's not a floating head. She's just... shy.

A guest checking it. Right behind him is the staircase. Kinda steep, I know. Ah well.. he'll manage.

This is the hall for budget travellers. Each bed has a lamp.

   The suites of course!

This is nice! I like how you have turned an old set into this. The outdoor pool might freeze in winter, though. :- The low-budget sleeping area is nice too. Also, you used those control tower windows in one of the best ways I could think of.
