About this creation

These boys were built for a race that never took place (and never will 'cos they're already disassembled).

One truck weighs 524 grams (1.15 lbs) and develops quite a speed.

The cab is made to fall apart on impact to increase the hilarity factor.

How it works can be seen on the beginning of this video (rather boring for those who weren't there or at least don't understand Croatian).

No minifigs nor bricks were harmed during the filming. ;)

The driving motor is geared 1:1 and the steering motor is geared 6:1 with no return to center so it's quite difficult to drive the truck.

I first used a clutch by Sariel but it was too weak so I had to switch to clutch gear.

I know I misplaced the spoiler when I took the pictures. :(

it s pretty cool! i d loved to see the truck race! i d have a great concept for you to try next!...interested? 8 is quite wide, even for a truck! but, for a bad guy s vehicle...that d be awesome! 3 bad guys cars speeding, and crunching in the city would be...unprecedented! lol! you d get to design cool bad guys and wacky vehicles...not bad for a day s work! lol! great work guys!

Neat little truck. Very small for having to use the M motors. Loved the video :D I must make one now. Looks simple to make.

Funny! -We shjould do that at our events in Spain, but I am sure that some of the people would get a heart-attack if anybody touched their precious dioramas... ;-)
