Before he was corrupted by Makuta Daitein, Or'tan was a proud Toa of fire. He is now a strategist, banished on the planet Dimress.
About this creation
Or'tan was a Toa of fire, living on Mata-nui at the same time as Makuta Daitein. Daitein had started an odd kind of cult, one that turned Toa and Matoran from their creed of Unity Duty and Destiny. Or'tan was one of many Toa to be taken by corruption and joined Daitien's cult.
It was years before Or'tan was banished to the planet Dimress but while he was on Mata-nui he became a trusted member and eventually became a part of the 'inner circle' (the members that knew about the scam and helped create 'miracles' and such to persuade others to join).
Eventually he was banished, along with Daitien and a few other corrupted Toa. Many years have pasted and he is still on Dimress, still with powers of fire but mutated and aged to a point beyond recognition.
On Dimress, Makuta Daitien gave Or'tan the title of Makuta and allowed him to control a large horde of Orshiek (loosely named after him).
At the moment Makuta Daitien, Makuta Or'tan and several others are planning a way of returning to Mata-nui, without the great spirits knowing...
It is still unknown what the Makuta plan to do once back on Mata-nui but it is not unlikely that they will try and restart their cult.
Over time Or'tan has lost a fair amount of his fire controlling abilities but can still concentrate plasma like substances into spheres.
Even know his element of fire causes a lot of damage his main weapon is the power of the mind. He is very persuasive and can, with time, recruit huge amounts of followers.
Thanks for looking!
Hopefully I'll be able to make five other bad guys (might be a bit hard finding heads for them).
Keep MOCing!

Excellent. I love a good Makuta. I like the fire ball Idea. How Ironic that you made a Makuta out of Mistika Takanuva. |

The leg design is just genius, as is his whole armour scheme - he looks like he's from a culture completely different to the M.U - which he now is I guess - so it works! I like the use of ammo parts on him too. |

Quoting Baron Von Ben ~
Nice! I like the use of 'fireballs.' If you're planning on making more Makuta, may I suggest getting some of the new HF 2.0 Villians, the fire ones. Their masks seem particually evil, and they come in the right, menacing colors.
Ok then, I'll have look. Unfortunately it takes ages for us to get new lego sets here in Australia... Thanks for that paragraph of a comment! |
