Version 2.0 Karbiner 98
About this creation
This is my 2nd try at a Kar98, with ultra-major improvemnts much like the M1 Garand's evolution.
Caliber: 7.92x57 mm Mauser in German service; many other chamberings in export models
Action: manually operated, rotating bolt
Overall length: 1101 mm (1250 mm)
Barrel length: 600 mm (740 mm)
Weight: 3.92 kg (4.09 kg)
Magazine capacity: 5 rounds in integral box magazine
!PLEASE READ!
RANT:I am sick of this anti-tape crap, the gun is sturdy enough to be photographed without the tape. The reason I put tape is for support of flimsy peices that could be lost. Also, tape is used to support the weapon while I am playing, demonstrating, filming, etc. SO GET OVER IT!
Any "........"-like reveiews will be deleted. Complaining about tape is lowing yourself down to the status of "........". Tape does not change the shape of design of the weapon in anyway, so quit complaining, its just shinnier. Also, who gives a rat's *** if its not the art of lego, look at Danny Zayac, he moddifies lego, and all his ratings are high, plase use common sense people.
People like: Scorpier, Foxkupo,Ben Walters, and Mr.Fetter, are smart enough to realize that tape doesn't matter.

Stock is major improved, it resemble's the V3 Garand's

the rear German Mauser Block Sights, can be ajusted by simply pulling them forward or puhsing them back.

The foresights, other variants sport the inverted U shaped sight with center prong, like Call Of Duty 2

the real beauty of the rifle is from its bolt, it is no longer a long tube attached to a technic rail. Note the 2nd technich stick infront of the bolt handle is the safety lock, it is off at the moment, to simply put it on safety, lift it up

note these are crapy bullets, I only added them for looks, and I will change this later.

To load a 7.92 into the chamber, simply grip the bolt's handle, and lift up.

next, pull the grip backwards to clip a round onto the bolt
|

good, now a round is on the bolt, and is ready to be pushed into the barrel

simply push the bolt forward, and the round is loaded

Finaly pull the bolt down to lock it inplace when firing

Nice, and ben, an idea for your barrel could be to use a metal rod, like artyr artemis's halo sniper rifle, the bolt is nice, and the sights are too, my only concern is the basic slope from the misection towards the front, it seems to gradual and awkward, and the stock seems it could be a bit taller, ps can't wait for the halo 2 LAN match, i need to make my 3.0 garand, once im done with the .30cal, it's the M1919 A6 right???, i dunno, too many versions and detail, nice trigger, lol, you noob/liar, the round doesn't load, lmao.all it does is get covered by the bolt, LOL! |

Here is my full review of your Mauser.
I really like the coloring, the bolt shape (I used the same concept on mine), and the way you incorporated the magazine port into it. The overall shape could use some more work, but I think you got it pretty well. The coloring of the black near the front kind of confused me at first, but I also saw that you have 3 guns constructed right now, so I guess that makes sense.
