Recovered Command Fortress
An abandoned Fortress found and rebuilt for operation.
About this creation
Part of an elite tactical "Ghostman" unit, these five mercs located an abandoned headquarters on the fringes of the desert. Utilizing materials recovered from downed aircraft, abandoned vehicles, and other outposts, they returned this Operations Center to a somewhat working order.

Most of the minor systems had been removed, leaving it mostly an empty plase. Also, there is still some overgrowth around and inside the fortress. Hey, its free oxygen...

Surviving being their first priority, they repaired the heavy front gate and modified the once glass windows and large archways with scrap metal and wooden beams.

Wide view of the top floors and roof. The gun rack folds up into the floor to prevent clutter and hides the weapons from prying eyes.

The Radar/Communication Tower.

This is the Commander's office and a storage area for weapons and other useful items recovered from "outside the wire."

This area shows the common area (with suspended duel TV moniters) and the other storage room.

Three auto-turret armed security cameras keep a close eye on the base.

A look at the lower floors.

The generator needed to be rebuilt with spare parts. An active fusion core was recovered from a crashed aircraft.

The "bomb room." You never know when something just absolutely positively has to be blown up!

The chain that pulls the gate upwards through a lever on the top floor. A small lock can be put in place to leave it open to welcome other survivors... or slam it shut in case of unwanted intruders. (Like they could get by the two single-manned quad cannons on the roof in the first place.)

A closer look at the front.

A look at the left outside.
