About this creation
Left by Colonel Robert R. McCormick "…for the recreation, instruction and welfare of the people of the state of Illinois," Cantigny is a 500-acre public park and recreation area located in Wheaton, Illinois. Grounds include the McCormick Museum, numerous gardens, the First Division Museum, and two golf courses. It's latest tradition is the December Lego train show.



Enlarge image 		   In recent years we've had exeptionaly nice weather for this show. Despite a pre-winter blast nearly 2000 people came to see this year's layout.

At any given time there were 5 trains, 2 subways, and a monorail running!

Enlarge image 		   Sunday Roger snow debuted his new coster train. At close to 9-wide it uses some very imagiative and unique construction techniques.
