Sandvik LH209L
First of all, it's not the same loader that I have built few months ago :D
About this creation
Some time after finishing LH517L I thought about building a fully remotely controlled underground loader (of course a Sandvik one), with Linear Actuators instead of pneumatics. I have chosen the LH209L because it is a smaller, low profile machine which can go where the larger LH517L cannot.

Unfortunately, sometimes ideas must face reality. First version had 94mm wheels, four Power Functions motors, and other PF components. Lego bricks are not capable to carry lot of weight. Due to exceeded weight of bucket and engine part of the loader, where the PF components were placed, I was forced to give up.

But I still wanted to make LH209L, so I decided to build smaller, Model Team version.

End product can be seen below :)

The real machine:

And the model:

I used fake "pneumatic" cylinders, they are strong enough to keep arm and bucket in different positions:

Quoting Jesse Long So, Marek, these vehicles that you have...they're supposed to be mining equipment, am I right? With that being said, maybe you could combine things like this with the Power Miners sets someday? The people from LEGO said that they had their inspiration for their Power Miners theme from vehicles just like yours and, truth be told, your vehicles are just so well put together that you should make them as mass produced sets via that Lego Digital Designer (or whatever that they call it now) program on the LEGO website. Anyway, it's very nice work and I hope to see more of it from you in the future. By the way, did you check out the story that was on Fox News Channel about the professor at Ohio State University that made a LEGO version of the stadium over at his college? It was also cool, too.
Yes, they are designed to work inside underground mines. From time to time I try to build undeground machines in PM colour scheme, but so far I've shown only two loaders. Currently I'm thinking about heavy articulated dump truck in that colour scheme.

A beautiful recreation of the original machine. From the reference pictures, I would have thought those wheels would have been extremely tricky to get right, but yours are perfect! Very nice model.

Marek, as usual this is an outstanding build. Your heavy equipment is perfect. I love how you concentrate on making the articulation work so well. Regards, Eric.
