A 1930's experimental French resistance jet fighter.
About this creation
The year is 1937, and the Baron has taken over most of Europe, with only Russia remaining free. Desperate to begin a counter strike the French resistance rapidly puts together a team of top scientific officials and begins planning on a new type of engine for their fighters, making them capable of going far faster then was ever previously imagined. This project is loosely codenamed "Dragonfly".
A few stats of the Dragonfly:
Speed: 650 mph
Armament: two nose mounted deathrays
Max Altitude: 30,000 ft.
Crew: 1
Pilot: Pierre Francois.
Range: 3,000 miles.
Now on to pics! The front is already the main, so we shall start with a side view!
And now a rear view:
And finally a bird's-eye view!
Hello all, fourth wall commentary here. I've been absent for quite some time as I was debating whether or not to come back to this site, because of lag issues and other problems I'd had with it. However now that I'm back I figure I should once again put my best foot forward(and dearly hope it is not lopped off) And post again! the inspiration for this airplane came mainly from the Warthog ground attack jet of the American military, with dashes of so many other planes I can't even keep them sorted, another main inspiration however was of course, the dragonfly. I love how those little bugs fly! I hope you all enjoy the plane!
