Just something I have had sitting around. A neat little diorama, if I say so myself.
About this creation
In order to stop the invasion of thieves and marauders, a system of checkpoints has been constructed around the perimeter of Alliance territory. SOme serve individual people while others serve vehicles. Today we will look at one of the more secluded outposts, Checkpoint Zeta.

Alternate main picture. You can see some barbed wire, a small power generator, and the keypad that the sentry uses to tell the gate operator to open the gate.

The grated window that protects the gate operator. He checks passports, collects tolls and makes sure there are no marauders getting through.

You will find that the gate is FULLY OPERATIONAL!!!

The fence design, which started this MOC. It was originally going to be the same fence from top to bottom, but lack of the long bars kept me from doing that. It looks better this way anyway.

The random stuff inside of the fence, you know, the stuff everyone has in their garage. Gas tanks, tools, chains, assault rifles, machine guns... I posted some more pictures of that machine gun at the bottom of the page.

This is that random greeblege you find on the sides of buildings, oh and if you want to know how that slanted grate is attached, look here. You can also see another, larger, power generator off to the right.

The sensor array, which is rigged to say "New challanger approaching" every time it picks something up on radar. For some reason, I really like that lamp there. Looks kinda cool.

The inside of the small building. The little computer screen on the wall connects with a database and passports are checked against it to see if they are real. He never lets us see what is in the secret folder on his computer....

The roof. Nothing special. Just a flag flying the U.F.A. colors and some sensors. I think the first time I saw that lever/grill plate antennae was one one of 000 000s MOCs.

Another shot of the outside of the wall.

Looks like someone sneaked in. (The frog, just for all you blind people.)

The dusty road. Stupid dust, always settling on my laygoes.

"Cade, I am telling you, she wasn't that hot."
"Whatever."

The cast from left to right: Matt, Sean, Me, and Cade.
Now here of some pics of that machine gun. I got the general design from another MOC, but I can't find it. If anyone has the link, just post it in the comment section belooooow (anyone get that reference?). EDIT: I found the picture.

Fourth containment field: Sorry for not posting a MOC sooner. I have been very lazy.

@ picture 6; iseewhatyoudidthere. Nice outpost, Joe. If you have the parts, I'd love to see it expanded.
Parts, yeah right. I am lucky I had enough legos to build this. |

Great job! I hate dust also, it just happens to fall right between the studs where you can't get it off. |
