Costing a rather large fortune in research and development, it's a heavily armed, extremely fast, and very unique ship.

About this creation

Originally Swallowtail was intended to be the toy of a wealthy noble, but the noble ran out of money while developing the ship and subsequently sold the blueprints to the Queen of Europa, who believed that its massive speed and maneuverability gave it military potential and added five powerful laser turrets to the plans along with military-grade shields, intending to build a unit of the ships for her navy. Only one of the ships was manufactured before a revolution on Europa occurred, and the blueprints and the computers containing them were destroyed.

The Fleet is the current owner of Swallowtail, and uses it to move high level diplomats in the greatest possible comfort and security.

Widely spaced wing-tip engines allow for pinpoint turning while the obscenely powerful (and expensive) engines in the center give this ship enough thrust to outrun and escape just about any threat it can't destroy.

Notes: This is me trying my hand at microscale again after my rather mediocre last attempt at a microscale dropship. I apologize for the light gray lever bases on a couple of the guns. I'm pretty sure I have more white lever bases, but couldn't find them despite looking, so I settled for light gray and carried on. Overall however, I'm pretty happy with how this came out, as I like the shape of this ship a lot and it was fun to build.
