Got to agree with Mark, that base gives the whole build a finished, crisp look. Nice details to break up the grey and I love the little cobbled path leading to the door. Lovely job.

I'm sure you'll find new solutions for the buttresses in your future builds (since you're not real thrilled with the ones here), but meanwhile this is a great addition to the portfolio of castle subjects. Very clean build, and nicely presented (love the base). Well done, amigo.

Your work is really inspiring. Mocs like these are the kind I want to make someday, but I don't have a lot of pieces for buildings. I particularly like the lower cross.
