There are times when a backstory for a creation just flows, and you're able to write up a detailed, elaborate little description in minutes. This is not one of those times. I have no clue what to write for this bike, but I wanted to post it since I have not been very active on the 'pages lately. And so, here are the description-less pictures of the DX-991 speeder bike.
I did have a lot of fun playing around with a lot of new techniques while building this, which led to the bike's rather unique appearance. I think it could have been improved in some ways, but I'm pretty happy with the way it is.
The green color scheme is the only lawmower similarity I see... otherwise, this looks like you took a microscale ship and stuck a minifigure-scale cockpt on it. It's a unique look, to be sure, and I quite like it. I also like those shoulder straps on the racing-style harness... cool technique!
