About this creation
Called "black cars" by New Yorkers, the Lincoln Towncar is a very common site on the streets of Midtown Manhattan. The idea for my Lego version was seeded by the big, bold, shiny chrome grilles on the new 2003 Lincoln Towncars that I've been seeing a lot of in my part of the city.
There are actually more black cars in Manhattan than there are Taxis!
