Nice Gandalf! I like the beard on yours better than on mine but the hair, I think, should be a bit longer. Good job!

How have I not commented on this before now?!?? Great figure Michael, good choice on the hair and beard. There is a rumor that if you preorder the lotr video game you get given a Gandalf the White minifigure...

Quoting LEGO Lord You are getting my idea mixed up, my designs are different, but better in a different way. Other creations are, perhaps, a whole lot more advanced than mine. My designs may look worse, but they are better in a different way because since my designs follow the LEGO designs correctly, whereas their designs are free with no rules. It's very hard to explain. I call my designs "set designing", and their designs "free-style". Maybe this isn't the place to talk, we can't really have a full conversation here. Maybe I'll make a group called "Set designing" and invite you to explain. Would you like to be invited?
Ok! That would be better! please invite me!

Quoting LEGO Lord "I think you should be more experieced in Lego designs and you should also improve your own creations" - what exactly do you think I am not experienced in? You need to be more descriptive, I gave you reasons.
You are better in minifigs than in buildings. I think you should for example change your Hobbit hole. The door is a little bit strange. I guess you are not that experienced as for example Sean Kenney or Mark Kelso, because they studied LEGO designs for a very long time. First then you can call yourself "very experienced in LEGO desings", I think.

Sorry Michael, I can't see what you are saying there, I guess it's just quite a long comment, not all the words fit in the box. I'm going to have to ask you to write it again. Oh, by the way, the beard looks quite thick, that's why I'd suggest using a different beard piece like the fisherman's. :P It would look better if there was a saddle despite if Shadowfax had it or not, it's probably what LEGO would do.

The beard doesn't look that perfect, because it is from brickforge... :D See you later!

1. It's made by myself 2. There aren't any Gandalf decals, but the face I used looks exactly like him: http://dk3zp59vm6pm7.cloudfront.net/Themen/Filme/Herr%20der%20Ringe/Herr_der_Ringe_Tolkien.jpg 3. The beard suits Gandalf and the fisherman's beard doesn't . If you don't believe it please look at some pictures of him (link above) 4. You're probably right! I should have made torso decals. 5. Shadowfax doesn't have a saddle!! 6. The second point in which you are right, but I don't think there is a better solution for this. You are probably right in some of your arguments, but I think you should be more experieced in Lego designs and you should also improve your own creations (which are definitely not as perfect as you say) , if you want to give other people advice. First then you can boast and write such comments on other people's less good creations.

There could be some improvements: 1. What's up with the hairpiece? Is that... clay? 2. Gandalf could have a head that suits his expression more, maybe you could use one of my face stickers here (don't mean to brag): http://mocpages.com/moc.php/260907 3. The beard doesn't really fit Gandalf the White, I'd suggest to use the beard from the collectable minifigures line that was used for the fisherman and knome. 4. The torso could use a printing. 5. The horse needs a saddle, otherwise it looks like the horse has a big gap in its back. 6. I know that Shadowfax doesn't have a bridle, but it probably isn't the best to put white-out on it (it looks scratchy). Maybe I could help you out with some white stickers you can place on the face instead. Sorry if it sounds very negative, but I'm only trying to put you up on a good track for future MOC LOTR characters. Thank you.
