Here's some detail shots of the Blacktron Intelligence Agency taken at the St. Charles Great Train Expo following an extensive rebuild this winter. Four additional towers and an extensive baseplate reconfiguration are some of the major improvements.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Blacktron kind of the bad guys? Also, what's with the other space series' ships docked there?
These guys are most certainly sinister! The other ships are visiting .... comparable to how the USA and CCCP (USSR) combined efforts on their space programs before the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Best...LEGO...Space...Build...EVER!!!
1. How many pieces are in this MOC build and your Alpine Railway MOC build?
...several more questions....
Jesse, thanks for the compliments. Here’s the real answer to how many and how much: I’ve never kept track of either. I started building these larger creations around 2003 and they are continually being reworked as I see things I can improve. My MOC’s have been the subject of many newspaper articles and 8 different TV interviews in the Indianapolis and St. Louis markets. The BIA is 100% mine with the obvious exception of the classic LEGO spaceships. The Alpine Train layout is mine with the exception of the city at the most recent show; it was built by a friend (Jake Runnals). You can see my city which is usually displayed as part of my train layout in previous posts here at my MOCpages. The mountain design was initially a collaborative effort with Jeramy Spurgeon for an IndyLUG show. The farm’s barn was built by another friend (Mark Peterson). In some older pictures of my train layout you’ll see some beautiful flying boats built by another friend (Eric Bell). Other than that the train layout is all my own creation. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway MOC is all mine however I did get some design help on the grandstand curves from Mark Peterson. Hope this answers your questions.

Best...LEGO...Space...Build...EVER!!!
1. How many pieces are in this MOC build and your Alpine Railway MOC build?
2. How long did it take for you to plan and build this MOC build and your Alpine Railway Build?
3. How much money did you spend to build this MOC build and your Alpine Railway MOC build?
4. Did you ever get on the news with this particular MOC build or your Alpine Railway build? If you did not get on the news in some form or fashion, then it is a shame for the media and, truth be told, after hearing of all of the doom and gloom of the past few weeks, people need a nice little bright spot in their day and this MOC build and your Alpine Railway MOC build would be the ticket to joy for some people.
5. Did you build this MOC build by yourself or did you have help with this MOC build like you did with your Alpine Railway MOC build?
By the way, you did a nice job with your racers and, as that one guy said, if LEGO (even back in the day) can put stickers and decals in their creations, then so can you without fear of reprisal of not being seen as purist in the eyes of narrow-minded people that refuse to see LEGO as a tool of imagination. You just blew my mind and made my jaw drop to the floor with your MOC build here and your Alpine Railway MOC builds. About the only thing that your MOC build here needs are some LEGO Space Police III vehicles, some ExoForce vehicles, and possibly some Alpha Team, and AquaZone vehicles and some LEGO Creator robots. Granted, I am not a fan of the vehicles of the space bikers/criminals (though with MOC builds, you can alter them to much better and more space biker/criminal-like vehicles, bases, and such), but I think that the Space Police vehicles are just as good as their Space Police I and II counterparts. |

O M G! Awesome set!! (but is there a word to qualify it?)
If Lego had to re edit the old BT sets, they could take the 11th pic as a art box'background. A nice tribute to your work.
The level of details is so amazing! An unreachable dream for an AFOL like me;
I really like your sense of humor => Kubrick's movie. Still LOL!! ^^ |

Make you a deal Brian, tell me which Brickworld you are going to and I will come over from Australia to see it in person. .... May I ask if you lose many pieces from petty thievary when you display?
It's really quite amazing that nothing has ever gone missing from the BIA! This was my 68th public event since 2003 (showing one or more of my bigger MOCs) and the only thievery I’ve experienced was an old style motorcycle from my Mountain Train Layout and one Jar Jar minifig from my Pirates of the Bermuda Triangle display. As you can see I don’t use any barriers because I want people to be able to get close for viewing details. ----
I would love to meet you in person but it will have to be at some other event besides Brickworld. I will never, ever bring any of my projects to Brickworld again.
