Lincoln Continental
A mini figure scale convertible modeled after a 1965 Lincoln Continental
About this creation
Here is a mini-figure scale Lincoln Continental based off the 1965 convertible version. I tried to get it to look the part as much as possible while keeping it small enough to fit mini-figures in. Just like the real Continental, its pretty huge:

The signature suicide doors.

Rear view. The hardest part of this model was probably figuring out how to add the fender skirts so that the wheels wouldn't rub against them AND they would be flush with the rest of the fender. I would have liked to make the trunk open, but the fender skirts sort of prohibit that.

I like to make things mini figure scale but in order to get the Lincoln's four head lamps in the front I had to go with a 8 stud wide design. But Lincolns are land yachts anyways, so I think it works in my Lego town.

Fits four comfortably.

Somehow the wheels look just right to me.And what a fabulous car! I also love how the doors open.

Neat. It could use bigger wheels, but it's still a nice model - especially with four friends cruising along!
