O.D.S.T drop pod (orbital. drop. swat. team)

the O.D.S.T (orbital. drop. swat. team) pod is a 1 man pod that is shot from orbit down into the battlefield. they are deployed in groups of 5 to avoid mid air collisions. the O.D.S.T swat teams where created in 2037 as a substitute for many land based vehicles and drop ships. the troops are dropped right into the battlefield, quickly and silently. (this moc and description was of corse inspired by the ODST'S from the halo universe, known as the orbital drop shock troopers.)

About this creation

as you can see, a fully geard up ODST trooper can fit perfectly inside the pod.

as the pod enters the atmosphere the two wings on the top of the pod and deployed, and small thrusters on the wings are activated to slow the pod down enough for the trooper to survive the impact and jump into battle.

lol i know. this isn't an ODST from halo, its my own creation. their the orbital drop swat team instead of orbital drop shock troopers.
