Jawbreaker - Blacktron 3, or Study of a Starfighter
To all nitpickers and science fans: This is how you make a starfighter! To all you Deus_ fans: Another Sabaton starfighter!
About this creation

Deus:
Welcome! There's a pretty nice chance you watch Discovery Science - LEGO bricks are a great way to train your mind and with brain it's like with stomach - once expanded you'll need more and more (brain) food to satisfy it.
Well, I watch it. So I was watching and saw this awesome show: Sci-fi Science (it rocks.) - theoretical physics. It was about real life starfighters! The question was how to make a real life X-wing starfighter to destroy the Death Star.
Don't worry, only the main photos of each side are large scale (if you don't care about science mumbo-jumbo).

Deus:
Here I have with me a Blacktron pilot, Fred. Fred, what can you tell us about the Jawbreaker?

Fred:
Well, for one: it's not designed to take down Death Star (although it could), quite the oposite, I should say! We're -- Erm, uhh... Actually, it's designed to... Uhh... It's a deep space mothership fleet fighter, best against stealth fleets, like ones of Metalizers. But enough of that, the crowds are anxious to take a look!

Fwoosh!

Fwoosh!

Swoosh!

Woosh!

Deus:
Wow, I really want to know more about it (don't know about the average customer). Should we look at the engines first?

Fred:
Let's do it!

Fred:
Let me explain the fact about engines now: You can't fly a spaceship like a jet. There's no air in space, remember? No media = no resistance. This means you don't stop in space, once you start moving. There are two-sided engines on the "wings", so you may turn as you want. Actually, minimum number of engines is three, but we made a spacecraft that could take a hit or two before becoming Satan's ride. It has smaller engines from behind because it has a big middle one there. In the front is just a small one that is actually not necessary, but it certainly looks cool.

Deus:
All fine but what are those green and red lights scattered across the fighter?

Fred:
Comunications! You know the enemy could use radio jammers (especially stealth fleets, those like to raid large ships), so why come unprepared?

Deus:
So you have speed agility and comunications - but what's with the G-forces? You may be weightless in space but you still have mass, and with that - chinetic energy. How do you get the pilot through those turns without splatting into the seat?

Fred:
That can hurt.

Fred:
But we have a solution! Let's see the cockpit!

It's filled with a liquid that has the same average mass as a human being. I do not posess suficient knowledge of scientific terms in english so this won't be explained very well. It works and an experiment proved it right so the pilot isn't splatting any day soon. Also - if the cockpit is pierced the pilot survives, but must retreat form the fight, slowly slowing and turning to the mothership.

Deus:
But now it's time for weapons!

Fred:
I thought you'd never ask!

>Railgun!<
>Railgun!<
>Railgun!<
>Railgun!<

>>>NUKE...<<<

Deus:
Nuke? Wouldn't radiation melt you? In space it moves with light speed and in all dierections...

Fred:
Yes, it would! And that's exactly what we use against those poor Metalizers (and similar)! What protects earth form radiation? Magnetism. What do I mean?

Fred:
Shields! Not only do they contain super-conductors, but they also serve as physical shields - remember, taking a strike or two!

Anubis ascended one:
I aprove!

This ship is so rad! And I gotta say, the ship I'm going to build will have a slightly similar intake on the front end, but I want you to know I didn't copy you. But I dig that intake on the front. And the rest rules too!

Great starfighter, but a bit too many colorful- I'd stick with one primary color and one or two secondary colors; you've built it with two primary colors (grey and black), and one primary color (yellow). The engines, the scimitars and the front are the best parts.
