Infantry Support Combat Armor
About this creation
This is the Baselard Combat Armor: Infantry Support Combat Armor. The first completely functional Combat Model in existence. This 1st generation unit has already proven to be extremely efficient in many infantry combat roles. In addition to general improvements over the CA21 prototype, the Baselard has many new features.
1 - 7.62mm M240 Machine Gun
1 - 40mm M203 Grenade Launcher
The new features include manipulators to hold infantry weapons and equipment. This improves the versatility of the Baselard, as it can now equip itself with many different types of armaments to tackle any situation. The new model also has a jump jet system. Although extremely hard to control, once mastered, it allows the pilot to get in and out of hot situations, or to reach low elevations.
Because of it's rapid maneuverability, the Baselard is commonly used in rapidly developing engagements.
Greater protection is afforded to the pilot, especially on the sides. The pilot is less vulnerable on the flanks.
In response to earlier combat tests, the front section has double thick armor to ward off heavier weaponry.
In addition to the easy movement control scheme, the pilot controls other features through verbal commands.
The Baselard still retains the original prototype unfolding cockpit design, but is more safe towards the pilot.
One major feature is the new jump jet. This allows short, controlled jumps to allow rapid Armor movement.

first off i love this armor design, i spent like 45 minutes coping it onto graph paper so i could build my own. secondly i customized it. mine has slightly longer arms for melee chainsaws, i redid the jump pack for full flight, short range shield generators on the shuolders, 2 of my own guns, and slightly larger feet(with claws) to support the weight of the flight pack. check it out when i put it on the site, you might be proud |

This armor is awesome! It looks technical and well built. I especially like the fact that this suit is so small. Fantastic!! This suit actually helped to inspire my Claidhmor suit, come check it out! |

I like it, but that one part, between the two robot arms, what would it look like to put a 1x1 plate with a clip there so it covers the pilot's head

Your designs are so compact and sleek, I never imagine a mini-fig inside until you open it up. Keep up the great work. |
