Tranik was a ko-Matoran who was trusted with the mask of light by the Previous Toa of light and was transformed into the next Toa of light. The mask kept its original shape until a Makuta tested out a weapon specifically designed for taking out Toa of light. his plan was to kill him and to take the mask of light and to destroy it so that there could never be another toa of light, the weapon was designed to turn the toa back into a matoran but the weapon only worked halfway, Tranik's power was greatly reduced but he was stuck halfway through the transformation and got the powers of poth ice and light he uses specially shaped ice crystals and shines light through them to take he shape of any thing he can even alter the crystal while shining light through it to make the projection move he is a skilled mimic and can mimic the voice of anybody he hears he and terovic have played many a practical joke on the other toa. he uses a launcher that fires dense balls of ice supercharged with light and a spear that can shoot blinding beams of light and color. his special mask allows him to shoot powerful heat beams out of his eyes and people say that if you take off his mask a flash of light that will destroy everything within a mile radius will blast from his face. He is on Lord Nitro's Toa team because he does not have a team.
