Days of protests among the Egyptian citizens caused many deaths. Mainly because the goverment hired people to battle the protesters.
About this creation
"To the rhythm of a time bomb ticking away
And the blare of the sirens combing the streets
Chased down like dogs we run from
Your grasp until the sun comes up"
"White needle's buried in the red
The engine roars and then it gives
But never dies
'Cause we don't live
We just survive
On the scraps that you throw away"
"We sow the seeds to see us through
Our days are precious and so few
We all reap what we are due
Under this sky no longer blue
We bring the dawn long overdue
We crawl... all over you"
Fourth brick commentary:
I think the Egyptian heroes who fight for freedom and democracy deserve to be honoured.
This MOC shows the ruined streets of Cairo after the first riots. It is totally wrong what happens there. The song from "Rise Against", especially when you hear it, reflects the situation.
Don't forget the other sides of the story- terror organizations supporting the riots and gaining popularity by helping the citizens for about 10 years (a thing that the government should have done), outlaws taking advantage of the crisis by breaking into houses, pillaging property (among other things that I will not write here). You have to understand that the victims are not only people fighting for democracy, but also peaceful and innocent citizens. I hope that the new uprising country will be an enlightened country with a decent democracy, and not a religiously-fanatic belligerent country.
