LEGO Ball Of Mayhem!
On this (real) episode of mythbusters, Kari, Grant, and Tory tackle a viral video myth about a giant ball of LEGO!
About this creation

Northern notes:

While I was sitting there staring at my new floating rock moc (trying to figure out what to build to go with it), I just happened to look over and see my Mythbusters figs beside a lego ball that I built. One thing led to another and I ended up building this scene from the youtube special. I know it's not perfectly accurate but with a few other mocs on the go right now, parts are scarce.

I saw this episode a couple days ago (on DVD) and I definitely wasn't expecting the outcomes of this particular test. Really accurate work, y'know, LEGO should start making Mythbusters sets...

The only reason why there lego ball fell apart is because they had a hollow spot were the camera was which made it weaker and thers wasnt the same design as the other guys so i think that there myth should not be busted.

Excellent, but one final photo is missing; When the several tons heavy ball hits a car and disintegrates. -and the car hardly got a dent... ;-)

this is one the mythbusters fails. any time you build something with over 1,000 pieces you glue it together. but you captured the episode perfectly.

"One thing led to another" What in the *Bleep* kind of lazy writing is that? Isn't it your job as the writer to tell me HOW this led to that? -Brian Regan, The Epitome of Hyperbole Anyways, nearly forgot what I was commenting on, nice creation. I can't remember the last time I watched Myth Busters... This actually reminded me of the ball scene from Indiana Jones. Haha, 5/5. Congrats.

Ya know, I think that ball is the first multi-colored MOC I've ever seen that is actually supposed to LOOK multi-colored...a bit surreal. ;-) Anyway, great idea for a build! Always love seeing unique ideas, and this one's straight out of left field.

That's amazing! It looks as if it came of the screen. That was absolutly hilarious when it just fell apart after they spent so much time into building it, which I would have loved to see you put in there. Still great, now you've got all six members(That includes Buster)of the Mythbusters.
