Kinia and Sylph
Also known as my first attempts at creating female characters. Kinia was the prototype, and Sylph made the "Kiina-Build" my personal standard for females.
About this creation
It was something around late 2009, when I looked over my MOCs and noticed that almost all of them are male or have no specific gender (the only female was Leviathan). So I decided to tackle the task of making a female MOC. To start this, I first bought Kiina and studied her build and her design.
When I started MOCing, I focussed on 3 elements:
1) A sleek design
2) A hint on busts (only a hint - I don't want to say that only boobs make female characters)
3) Dignity

Kinia
My first attempt at the MOC known as Kinia was actually a regular Inika-Build, using a pair of Toa Nuva Shoulders for the bust. Her chest did look quite... ehm... feminine, but their size was kind of awkward, and because of the Inika-Torso, her body still looked weird.
So, despite my original plan, I tried Kiina's build, and it worked out surprisingly well.

Basically, Kinia is just a modified Kiina, hence the similiar name.

She can store her dagger/tonfa/whatever-weapons away.

Double claw!

Her blades form together with the swim fins on her upper legs...

...and the one on her back some sort of skirt, which looks quite nice, doesn't it?

I almost forgot how much fun it is to pose Kinia until I made these photos today.

Cookie for everyone who can tell me which characters poses she performs here.
A few hints to make that easier: She performs poses of two different characters (which are both female). Both characters originate from the same game, and those poses are shown in their respective artworks.
UPDATE: Since it seems nearly impossible to figure out where the poses originate from (at least, Cheesy Q could say from which game they are), I thought it's time to put links to the original artworks which inspired those poses. Mark the text after the links to find out their names.
Pose 1 Talim
Pose 2 Taki

And finally, some sort of "Pin Up": Hot girl on hot ride.
I don't know why, but it's kinda fun for me to put female MOCs in poses like this, I already did something similiar with Leviathan at the Four Guardians entry (I'm quite sure some psychologist could say some interesting things about me because of this).

Sylph

I built Sylph mostly because of Vastus' Kanohi. Once I opened his canister and saw his mask, I thought that it would also work pretty good for a female character due to it's form.

I wasn't really sure which weapons Sylph should get, so I gave her a shield and a modified scythe. Unlike many other of my MOCs, Sylph can't store her weapons away, they're attached to her hands.

Sylph's body is different from Kinia's, mostly because I didn't used a vahki leg for her torso. Aside from that, the design works the same way.
Sylph used orignally also the grey ball joints for her shoulders, but since her shoulder armour tend to get tangled up with her helmet, I exchanged them for the black straight ones. Her shoulders are a bit farther than Kinia's that way, but she still got a rather feminine look.

Her sythe.

Her shield.

And finally some badass pose.

And so much to these two lethal beauties. I actually only upload them together because they didn't look sooo incredible awesome that I should upload each one of them separate IMHO.
But I hope you like them anyway.

"Bye bye sweethearts, and don't forget to rate and comment!"

It is way to fun to put them in poses like this. anyway. I think you should read these rules for something that you might like. http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=28&topicid=68345

Well at least DOA gets a Metroid stage with a Ridley stage-hazard. I read that when a player falls off, instead of falling to your doom, ridley swoops down and destroys the person instead.

Quoting Cheesy Q Well here I am again to go on about the 3DS. Personally, I'm looking forward to getting the three fighting games that have been announced. Super Street fighter 4 3D, Dead or alive dimensions, and Blazblue CS2. Sadly, I don't see soulcaliber 5. BUT. I did hear a rumor today that soulcaliber 5 is being made.
The 3 fighting games you named are also the 3DS-Games I'm most interested into (I think it's kinda ironic that I'm looking forward to not only one, but 3 fighting games for a handheld). SF4 and BlazBlue are sure buys, in the case of DOA, I'm not entirely sure. Unless they decide to make Samus an actual playable character - in that case I'd get it. But so far it seems she'll only get a non-playable cameo.

Mortal Kombat? Or maybe my personal favorite, Soulcaliber. Or perhaps Tournament of Legends?

It's from Soul Calibur, SC 2, to be more precise.

No. That's pretty cold. ~_^ Another Hint... it's a fighting game. One character uses weapons similiar to Kinia's.
