Filoni's favorite: the T-6 Jedi shuttle. In miniature.
About this creation
With the release of the new LEGO T-6 Jedi shuttle, I couldn't help but make my own. Of course, with my limited collection, it needed to be miniature.
This craft was first introduced in season 2 of Clone Wars, and director Dave Filoni has said that of all the new ships they made for the series, this one is his favorite. I think it's pretty sweet, too.
So, I put this together this morning in about 2 hours. The only thing I used for reference was the picture of the LEGO shuttle in the catalog, and a bit of my memory. This wasn't a serious build or anything.

As a result, there are a few things that I would change if I had more time/elements. 1) It doesn't actually spin. You have to take it apart and reattach the thrusters rotated. 2) the cockpit is kind of meh, but that's what you have to deal with when building in miniature. 3) The back "fin" is a bit wide.

But as you can see from the above photo, having a wide fin actually made it easier to build since the engine block could be 8 studs long. This made adding the thrusters a lot simpler than fiddling with a smaller block. Who knows, maybe I'll try again at a later date.
But with so many cool Star Wars ships, that's probably not likely.
Despite it's short comings, I can't help but smile when I look at this little build. I really like the Brickmaster size ships (which is kind of the size I was aiming for here). Let me know what you think.
Very, VERY impressive! I have this set along with many others and this is extremely accurate.
The only thing that could be better is if the wings could move.....I would recommend this
