Zenith Wanzer
After a lot of work here it is! My version of the Zenith from Front Mission! Others on these pages have built very good versions of this mech. Thanks to them for the inspiration and for making me believe that you can build anything you really want with LEGO!
About this creation

A few notes. This build taught me a couple of things about LDD: first all of my previous virtual mechs are actually unbuildable! The joints I first used can't hold the kind of weight I put on them! Second real life models are much more satisfying and you can pull off tricks that the program won't even recognize! (Ok Ok I already knew that, but building this one really made me appreciate the truth). I really like this one and even if it drained my lego resources I don't think I'll ever be able to scrap it for pieces! It is very top-heavy and the hip joints really suffer from it... if I try to place the legs in some other pose the whole mech will fall! the pilot cannot come out from his cockpit and overall the build is very fragile. In the next mocs I will try to address this problems. The gun it is holding just happened by chance. Lacking pieces I put together something quick. Actually it's a rendition of the venerable and much respected Karasawa lasrifle from AC... Thanks again to master-builders Mithryl Dlarix, Gab BOIDOT and ccy 8086 for the inspiration!

Great Mech, You Recreated The Mech Spot On. And Yeah, I Can Imangine That A Lot Of LDD Mechs Are Unbuildable, You Go Nuts With Them Sometimes As There Is No Gravity In LDD, Like I'm Sure My Recent One May Not Be Able Cope With The Weight. But I'm Sure My First One Will Be Able To, It's A Lightweight.

Quoting Gab BOIDOT Sorry for the triple post. I'm on the office. I didn't find the time to read all your lines, beacuse I can only check the pics (quickly)between 2 files. Thank's for the credit you gave me and my other favorite lego builders. Maybe when you see my next MOC(WIP), you can call me a MASTER, but for now only Mitryll and CCy could be consider as MASTERS !Thks anyway. What a pity you can't build your blizzaial in real bricks. Real build are much more pleaseant than LDD, now you agree with that. Keep continuing building with so much details. I'll try to post my first try on zenith tonight, you will see you're pretty close with.. BYE
of course I've seen your zenith! it's great! about weapons: I wanted to wait till a shipment of lego arrived and add missiles and stuff... I'm still waiting... the back slots have two reasons: lack of other suitable pieces and (after I used those cross-holed bricks) a long term project involving helicopters and wanzers... thanks for the comments!

Awesome design and color scheme! The thumbnail on the main page just jumped out at me. I love the bulkiness and anime style of it. As far as making your mech sturdier, it's alot of trial and error. My furst mechs were junk compared to my new ones. Just keep at it:)

It looks very solid and sturdy though--very nice work on this--you really managed to capture that zenith shape--no easy task. You've definitely got the wanzer touch!

Wow! you found your way to build it, it's great! I am so glad that you can have some inspiration from my creation. About this creation, I can image how heavy it is (That's why I build it in a smaller scale). If you are going to have a ver 2, I think the shoulder should be a little upper. Keep going!
