The first practical Interactive Adventure in MOC form, and still the most popular. Continuing from last time's episode, we have...
About this creation
...expoloring. Travel sequence excluded because it's not very interesting to watch people crawl through air vents unless they're attractive women.
"Okay, I just got back from General Quarters. We've got a bunch of guys in there and in the Mess, but I don't know if they're enough..
Whoever they are, they've cut us off from the other levels. They've got the corridors leading to the elevator, and the wounded guy said they were dragging in what looked like heavy weapon parts when he was escaping."
"Damn... All they have to do is set that up in the corridor, and the elevator and sickbay are cut off. Any chance of getting them from behind?"
"I don't think so, there's some of them in the medical storage corridor, too. The designers set that chokepoint up for us to use. Who'd have thought it'd get used against us?"
"Well, to be honest, most boarding raids have some advance warning. This one just came out of the blue. That reminds me, did you talk with Security?"
"Yeah, they said it was sabotage. They're still stuck in their room though."
"Damn! We could really use them right now. Did you find any cutting torches?"
"No, none. I don't know where they've gone."
"Oh, hell! I just realized something! That hidden arms locker near the medical storage room. If they get that-"
*celebratory thought* "Yuss!!"
"Not a problem, not a problem. They're still in the armouries, remember? The Weapons Officer wanted to make sure they were functional?
*not so celebratory thought* "Frak!!"
"Well, that's a- what about the secret armoury tunnel in Level Two? Even if they can't get to the armoury normally because of the ADS, that'll give them access."
*celebratory thought* "Yuss!!"
"Level Two also has the envirosuit storage racks, remember? Taking one of those down with antipersonel weapons is suicide."
*not so celebratory thought* "Frak!!" *angry fist pound*
"Yeah, I suppose. Wait, did you hear something?"
So, will you..
A: fire blindly in the slim hopes of hitting all of them before they get you?
B: travel to
C: try to surrender?
We don't know yet which side the "invaders" are on; they could be pirates, government forces, or pretty much anything else. Neither, of course, do we know what side the ship's crew is on. Since we just killed a crew member, and said crew member became excessively irate when he found out our identity, it seems likely that other crew members would have the same reaction. The invaders, however, regardless of their alignment, should accept their spy back into their ranks willingly, unless they shoot him for a defender on sight. And if the invaders are on the bad side, we can easily work as a double-agent. Now were to go.....we're on Level One, and the overheard conversation sort of implied that the invaders had taken over the corridors to the elevator on Level One. As to where those are at, my best guess is the far right side, with the elevator the farthest room on the right (since that has no ventilation system connections). Therefore, BII
