Nohri:What are you doing Toa Akai?
Akai:The Turaga wanted me to add something to the Wall of Chronicles and I thought why not draw one of our best Toa.
Akai:There all finished!
Nohri: Wow! It looks just like him!
Akai:Thank you, Nohri. Do you know this warrior?
Nohri:Of course, I read about him back when I was still learning the ways of a soldier. That's Toa Kopaka. One of the greatest Toa of Ice that ever lived!
Akai:That's right! Toa Kopaka and his team were the heroes that helped saved Mata-Nui. We still honor them to this very day.
Nohri:I hope one day I can be chosen to be a Toa and save the day!
Akai:Perhaps you will. Would you like to help me carry it back to the Turaga?
I actually started this back in the 8th grade and now im finished with it.
Tips on drawing:
Don't put pressure on the pencil because you'll darken the lines and once you erace it, it'll leave marks. It can be seen around the waist area and the shield. Only darken the drawing when you're done, then you could go ink the outlines.
Start off with a body frame of the subject first then gradually go into the arms, legs, head, etc. After that you can add detail.
Be sure your eracer is always clean. If it has black smudges and you erace with that, it'll leave the smudge on your drawing.
the pressing too hard is a bad habit for me. I usually start off with the head and then body, legs, and then arms. I find this art is really superb, because it has perspective, something i am horrible at. LOL
