Aquastlenauts: Turtle Treasure Tower!
It's been a long time, but here's some new Aquastlenauts for you!
About this creation
After what Dave Kaleta pulled, I just had to get some higher standards in this theme...So here it is!

Hidden in the coral a tower keeps the treasure of king Neptune. His loyal turtle guards are keeping watch.

You control the action!

Bonus: How to light the treasure:

Delightful Gio. Makes me want to use the word 'Whimsical' for some reason. Brilliant part useage to get organic shapes - something i'm failing badly to do at the moment so i'll be stealing yours, Tom's and Dave's ideas amongst others. Love the use of colour and the height (depth?) of the scene works really well.

Quoting Giovanni Seynhaeve So...how about that contest?
Just wait until I get back on track, right now I can't even load the pics on MOCpages :( As soon as I get a new provider, and I bring my LEGO collection to my new home, there will be a big surprise.

Quoting Jesse Long ...If you're this great with colors underwater, then I could scarcely imagine what you would do with a LEGO garden diorama!
Interesting idea, Jesse! It would need a combination with the old insectoids theme among huge plants and other gardenlife! Hmm...Adding it to the "to do list"!

I wonder if the attack turtles have cousins that live in the sewers of New York City? All kidding aside, I think that is the most beautiful seaweed sculpture that I have ever seen from a underwater LEGO diorama. It is so colorful and full of life, Gio. I haven't seen this many colors since those Milton Bradley Seascapes puzzles (or some of the Suns Out puzzles for that matter). You did a really great job in capturing the feel of a real life ocean reef and each individual coral group, sponge, starfish, and turtle felt almost alive in and of itself (and I love the improvised merman...that design was a total stroke of genius, Gio). If you're this great with colors underwater, then I could scarcely imagine what you would do with a LEGO garden diorama!

I love the coral work here! Exactly how much time do you spend on the bottom of the ocean anyway... wait, there's a Shannon joke in there somewhere, let me find it. Great work Gio! ~ Chris.

Top work Gio! Love the turtles. And as an avid diver, I can say that I like the sponges best. They really look like the real thing.
